Each year our management team attends several technology conferences to highlight our achievements for products, service and stay up to date with trends and innovations. This time we visited a web summit and it was amazing. We began preparing nearly 2 months in advance, by connecting founders and entrepreneurs and scheduling meetings beforehand and as a result we were fully booked with the meetings. We picked side events with attention to agenda and we were fully satisfied with the results that we had.

Preparation

We’ve defined who are the potential partners and clients we want to meet and from that point start connecting and establishing connections with a clear goal of creating long-term value through mutually beneficial partnerships.  More than 30+ meetings were scheduled before the summit even began.

Meetings 

Despite the fact that we had enough meetings we were meeting people in their booths and exploring how our expertise in mobile/web platform creation can benefit them. This was possible by carefully listening to the story of their journey and identifying if we had a good ground for helping them scale faster, optimize performance, and accelerate product development.

Side Events

The key part of the Web Summit were their side events, where we planned beforehand the main event and in case the event weren't the one that we were looking for, having a second option to go for the same day. We met a lot of founders full of energy and plans and it was contagious and inspiring to connect with them over the cocktail and beer. It is filled with energy and willing to connect with new and energizing people.

AI Aspect

When exploring the exhibitors almost all startups have AI aspects, which restate that AI is here and it won’t go anywhere. It's revolutionizing the industry and technology development now moving much faster than ever before. Still we believe that AI is a tool not the final solution and hence founders should concentrate on using it not because it’s mainstream but because it provides more value to end users.
 

Reflections and Takeaways

Web Summit 2025 reminded us why these events are invaluable: they’re not just about showcasing products, but about sharing ideas, learning from others, and connecting with the global tech ecosystem. We left Lisbon inspired, motivated, and with promising pre-agreements for cooperation with new and exciting partners, fueling our next projects.
